CPD Medicine has an obligation to ensure that interactions with exhibitors and sponsors meet professional and legal standards. Arrangements for commercial exhibits, sponsorship, or advertisements cannot influence planning or interfere with the presentation; nor can they be a condition of the provision of commercial support for CPD activities

All activities accredited after January 1, 2018 must comply with the National Standard for Support of Accredited CPD Activities. The National Standard applies to all situations where financial and in-kind support contributions are accepted for the development, delivery and/or evaluation of accredited CPD activities. Activities must also comply with the University of Manitoba Max Rady College of Medicine policy on Interactions between the Max Rady College of Medicine and Health-Related Industries.
