Objectives

  • Participants will understand evidence-based screening, early diagnosis, and management of patients with prostate cancer (Medical Expert, Communicator, Scholar)
  • Participants will recognize the challenges of managing prostatitis and UTIs (Medical Expert, Communicator)
  • Participants will be able to describe best practices in managing BPH in primary care (Health Advocate, Communicator)
  • Participants will articulate a strategic approach to referrals versus management of male infertility (Communicator, Collaborator)
  • Participants will be able to recognize different presentations of testicular conditions (Medical Expert)
  • Participants will be able to identify the testicular conditions requiring elective or urgent referrals (Collaborator, Medical Expert)
  • Participants will recognize the common causes of male sexual dysfunction and develop an approach for care (Communicator, Medical Expert)

Per CPD Medicine policy, the department requires any refund or cancelation request to be submitted in writing up to 14 days before an event. A $50 administrative fee will be withheld to cover transaction and administrative costs. Refund or cancelation requests made less than 14 days before an event may be considered on a case-by-case basis
