Description:
In this 3-day hands-on and in person workshop, presented by CHI’s Data Science platform, you will learn how to create customized graphs using R’s ggplot2 library, one of the most popular graphics and visualization programs. Sessions will be held from 9am to 12pm (CT) on Monday, Oct. 30th; Wednesday, Nov. 1st, and Friday, Nov. 3rd.
Objectives:
- Learn how to build graphs using geometeric objects and aesthetic mappings
- Create scatter plots, box plots, violin plots, bar charts, and histograms
- Learn how to facet, customize legends, add themes, etc.
- Introduce ggmap
