Dr. Amarjit Rihal
Dr. Rihal obtained his undergraduate dental training from the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba in 1995. His professional interests focus on all aspects of implant and CAD/CAM dentistry. He has obtained additional training in both hard and soft tissue grafting. In addition to implantology, Dr. Rihal has extensive expertise in CAD/CAM-based prosthetic dentistry, involving numerous CAD systems and materials. Proficient in the use of CEREC ac, Sirona InLab system, 3Shape software and Nobel Procera scanner, he has designed over 4000 restorations. He currently manages operations of his in-house lab, Lodge Dental, and is the owner of his own digital lab, Rihal Digital Designs. Dr. Rihal has trained with numerous ceramists in California and has extensive expertise on ceramic pressing and layering techniques over zirconia and metal substructures. His professional activities include private practice as a principal partner in a large group practice in Winnipeg, MB and serving on the Board of Directors of the Manitoba Dental Association, and the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. Dr. Rihal is the Chair of the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada since 2016. He was also a part time instructor at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba and is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists.
