The most significant impact is on Module #8, with some effect on Module #11. Please refer to the CPhM publications for the most accurate information, and utilize the CPhM Prescription Regulation Summary Chart for guidance. The changes in prescription transmission and M3P will be reflected in the JP exam.

These modules are intended to expose you to foundational themes in pharmacy practice and are not a comprehensive education on pharmacy law in Manitoba.

Although the learning included in these modules will be reflected in the CPhM JP Exam, it is critical that you put meaningful effort into completing the modules, in addition to being knowledgeable of and understand the application of all legislation, practice directions and standards, guidelines, and joint statements relevant to the practice of pharmacy in Manitoba. You are encouraged to review the resources cited throughout the modules to ensure you are familiar with the documents and review the JP Exam Study Material. You are not expected to memorize the references, but to review and reflect on their content.
