This one-hour learning module provides an overview of the steps involved in planning an accredited CPD activity or event.

Learning Objectives

After completing this module, learners will be able to:

  • Recognize the responsibilities of a CPD Planning Committee
  • Plan and offer a CPD event following the applicable policies, procedures and standards

Study Credits

This activity is an Accredited Self-Assessment Activity (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba on June 27, 2022 and expires June 27, 2025. Remember to visit MAINPORT to record your learning and outcomes. You may claim a maximum of 1.0 hour (credits are automatically calculated).

Participants should only claim credit for the actual number of hours attended.

The University of Manitoba CPD Medicine Program is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME).
