Designing an online course with opportunities for students to engage meaningfully with the instructor, the material and each other is important for learning and helps maintain student motivation. The focus of this workshop will be to explore ways to engage students with course content through learning objectives, activities, and assessments.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- Create objectives and instructional activities that encourage reflection and student-student interaction online.
- Apply low-risk assessment strategies into an online course.
