Becoming a Teacher-Researcher: An Introduction to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) – February 21, 2017
Description:
This workshop explores how teachers can begin to critically and empirically examine their teaching practices and their students’ learning. The workshop will include an overview of the following areas: the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) field, designing and conducting educational research projects, and disseminating findings and implementing changes from research projects. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to formulate an educational research project of their own.
