Better than Siri: Voice-Over PowerPoints – May 10, 2018
Description:
Lectures and presentations used to require the presenter and the audience to be physically located in the same space at the same time; technology now allows for some flexibility in that equation. If you are curious about how this can be achieved or why you might want to attempt this transition, this workshop will explore reasons why this might be a good option for you and your learners. We will also examine some of the things that can impact on the quality of your recording, as well as several different software applications you can use to create voice over PowerPoint presentations. We’re certain that Siri would approve…
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- identify opportunities to use voice-over recordings in their teaching environments
- implement basic vocal tips to support recording sessions
- describe how simple editing software can improve the quality of the audio output
- list some software options for voice-over recordings and select ones that best meet their needs.
