- To provide care providers with a “toolkit” to feel personally and professionally strengthened to be
allies in safely caring for Indigenous community members in emergency medicine. - To recognize, believe and respect that racism kills and impacts our communities as a whole.
- To learn from Indigenous communities who have travelled this path before us, such as our Maori
relatives in New Zealand who have well established Maori health curriculums based on extensive
research and feedback.
