Cardiology Day is designed to address cardiac care issues which arise in primary care practices using a format consisting of short lectures, a Special Lecture, and interactive workshops. Participants will engage in collaborative and lively interactive workshops with cardiology specialists, reviewing common topics from cases observed in day to day practice. Registrants are encouraged to provide questions and/or case scenarios, from their practice, in advance of the workshops to provide a more tailored session.
This event is of interest to Rural and Remote Practicing Family Physicians, Urban Practicing Family Physicians, Academic Family Physicians and Residents.
Objectives
- Apply skills in cardiac issues pertinent to primary care practices. (Medical
Expert, Scholar) - Identify updates regarding emerging forms of primary and secondary prevention of cardiac
disease. (Medical Expert, Scholar) - Recognize approaches to several atrial arrhythmias which are commonly seen in out-patient

As Per CPD Medicine policy, the department requires any refund or cancelation request to be submitted in writing up to fourteen (14) days prior to the program start date . A $50 administrative fee will be withheld to cover transaction and administrative costs. Refund or cancelation requests made less than fourteen (14) days notice may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
