Registrations are being accepted for internationally educated physicians intending to sit the Certification Examination of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Due to changes to the October 2020 session of the CFPC exam, this webinar will focus solely on the SAMP component of the exam.

The Continuing Professional Development Medicine Program, Max Rady College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba will offer a 6-hour day preparation course for the College of Family Physicians of Canada Certification Examination on September 19, 2020.This virtual webinar will provide participants with an overview of the examination; we will focus on preparing for the unique aspects of the CFPC exam. Participants will complete a mock written exam following the exam overview.

This course is directed towards the MLPIMG and PRA MB-FP physicians intending to sit the Certification Examination of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and will open to all others June 15th.Should enrolment numbers be low, the CPD Medicine Program reserves the right to cancel this course by the end of the day, August 28, 2020. Should this be the case registrants will be contacted by email and receive a full refund.

This course is not offered to current residents in Family Medicine residency training programs, except under special circumstances. Please email the course coordinator with your request.

*Please note that completion of this course does not guarantee success on the CFPC examination.

CFPC Exam Prep Brochure

This course will be conducted virtually through Zoom. Because this is an interactive course please ensure you are using a laptop or computer with a microphone and camera. You will also be typing answers to questions using an on-line sample of the SAMP exam.

We are holding two Zoom tests to ensure you are able to connect for the day of the course. This is not mandatory, you may choose one date or both. At registration check out you will be asked which date(s) you plan on attending.
