Learning Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • identify relevant university policies and resources available to assist in resolving conflicts between students and advisors
  • define foundational concepts and principles of conflict management
  • describe several conflict management strategies
  • apply a conflict management strategy to an academic case.
