Converting Your Course to Online – December 5, 2018
Description
It is said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Converting courses to an online format can seem like such a journey. This workshop aims to be that first step as you examine the nature of the online environment and start the process of planning for effective learning in an online setting.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify differences between traditional and online courses
- describe the different types of interaction available in online courses
- adjust and revise elements of their traditional courses for delivery online.
It is recommended that participants bring a course syllabus for the course they would like to convert.
