Learning Objectives

After completing this session, participants will be able to:

  • Use ‘Snipping Tool’ to create instant copies of any image on your computer screen for uploading into PPT;
  • Upload and embed videos from YouTube into a PPT presentation;
  • Create a sound recording within a slide in PPT;
  • Create a short video and/or sound recording and upload these into a PPT slide;
  • Describe some basic audio editing features in Audacity software.

 

Please note: Participants are asked to bring:

  • Laptop with Microsoft Office 2016 installed so that they can create and upload files into PPT;
  • Headset (with earphones and microphone) to create and edit sample sound recording during session;
  • Optional: Audacity software downloaded on your laptop (to follow along with quick audio editing demonstration);
  • Optional: Smartphone with video/sound recording software to create a sample video recording during the session.
