ID# 198052-012 This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for a maximum of 1.5 hours. Curriculum development is a complex process, whether you’re developing a program, a course, or a single session.  In this workshop, we will explore the curriculum development process and options for turning your work into a scholarly project.

Learning objectives:

  • Apply Kern’s 6-step framework to a curriculum development project
  • Address common challenges in curriculum development
  • Outline scholarly project opportunities through curriculum development
