Course Overview:
Master the art of ultrasound-guided vascular access in this comprehensive, hands-on course! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this session is designed to enhance your confidence and precision in performing vascular access procedures under ultrasound guidance. We will cover both central and peripheral venous access.

Principles of ultrasound-guided vascular access
Hands-on practice with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment
Techniques for central and peripheral line placement
Tips to minimize complications and improve success rates
Cost & Registration:
Guided Vascular Access Course is being offered on April 25th, 2025. Cost of registration is $750.00 per participant.

Cancellation Policy:
The course is very resource intensive, with much effort being provided by the Department of Emergency Medicine. There are a limited number of spots for each course, and it can be difficult to find participants to fill spots that open up due to cancellation. In light of this, cancellations greater than 8 weeks from the course date will receive a FULL refund, minus $200 administration fee. Cancellations with 6-8 weeks of the course date will receive a 50% refund, and there are no refunds for cancellations less than 6 weeks from the course date. Participants who have registered may transfer their registration to another person, but this responsibility lies with the original participant. We will try to help find a replacement, but in the event one cannot be found, participants WILL NOT receive a refund (if within 6 weeks of the course). The DEM reserves the right to cancel a course due to low enrolment or other circumstances that would make the event non-viable. If the DEM cancels a course, registrants will be offered a full refund or transfer registration to an alternative course.
