Multiple choice questions (MCQ) are regularly used as a method of assessment in health professions education. However, not all MCQ are created equal! In this session, we will discuss the importance of ensuring alignment between learning objectives and MCQ, and will explore a number of practical applications and tips for MCQ design.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify key considerations when designing MCQ.
