Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Stop, Talk, and Roll: Addressing Micro-aggressions in Your Clinical Teaching Practice – February 16, 2023 (Zoom)
Addressing micro-aggressions in clinical settings is important for both our learners and our patients. Using the micro-aggressions triangle model, this workshop will explore an approach to dealing with micro-aggressions in the moment.
Learning objectives:
- Recognize instances of micro-aggressions in the clinical setting
- Describe the impact of micro-aggressions on clinical care
- Explain challenges to confronting micro-aggressions in a clinical setting
- Apply the presented frameworks to clinical cases in observed role plays
