Fatigue is a risk in medical education that impacts clinical training, patient care, and workplace health and safety. Managing fatigue and associated risks is a shared responsibility for all those who have a role in medical education. In this workshop, we will provide tools and strategies for educators to assist them in identifying fatigue and managing risk.
Learning Objectives:
After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Discuss Fatigue and its risk to the health system
- Describe an approach to mitigate the effects of fatigue (Fatigue Risk Management)
- Implement strategies to address fatigue in the learning environment.
