Dr. Shiphra Ginsburg is a Clinician-Scientist at Mount Sinai Hospital, Department of Medicine, and a Scientist at the Wilson Centre for Research in Education at the University of Toronto. Her research involves the understanding and assessment of professionalism and clinical competence in medical education.

9:00 – 11:00 am Workshop
Challenges in Workplace Based Assessment and Feedback – SOLD OUT

Objectives:
By the end of this workshop participants will:

  • Identify common challenges faced by preceptors and peers when assessing healthcare professionals in the clinical environment.
  • Comprehend the power of language in feedback and assessment.
  • Address barriers faced by assessors, when providing feedback to colleagues and students

Credits:
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for up to 2.0 Mainpro+ credits.  ID# 188625-001
