Description:

Feedback is the cornerstone of effective clinical teaching.  Well delivered feedback not only helps learners change their performance, it also promotes reflective practice and motivates future learning. This workshop will focus on strategies for giving effective feedback in a clinical setting.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to

  • describe strategies for effective feedback,
  • discuss common problems in giving effective feedback, and
  • apply a feedback model when giving feedback.
