The George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) and Rady Faculty of Health Sciences College of Nursing are pleased to partner together for this workshop.
Objectives:
- To become familiar with a variety of knowledge synthesis products, including: scoping reviews, overviews of systematic reviews, systematic reviews of observational studies and qualitative reviews.
- To understand the role and value of systematic reviews in health care decision making from a clinical, health policy and health system perspective.
- To understand the process of conducting both a qualitative and quantitative systematic reviews – from inception to publication (preparing a review question, protocol, search methods, quality appraisals, data extraction forms, data management, analysis, reporting and updating).
