Description:

Technology creates many opportunities for instructors to provide innovative learning experiences for learners. An even greater benefit is that these learning experiences can take place regardless of the time and place, and offer students varied opportunities for interacting with their peers and the content. This workshop will explore the use of game-based programs and Articulate Storyline.

As a result of participating in the workshop, participants will be able to

  • incorporate game-based programs like Kahoot! as synchronous learning activities in their online course and
  • describe the Articulate Storyline features, such as ‘menu’, ‘branching’, and ‘quizzing’, which may be used to improve student engagement in an online learning environment.

Log in information will be sent to webinar registrants prior to the event.
