Maximizing Mentorship (From the Mentee Perspective) – February 24, 2022
Description:
Mentorship is a professional working alliance with which individuals work together to support the personal and professional growth, development, and success of the partners. Mentoring can be a rewarding experience. Being an effective mentor in health professions education can be complex, as mentors often play multiple roles. This workshop will benefit those in both formal and informal mentoring relationships.
The workshop will consist of short didactic bursts and small group discussions, through which we will discuss and explore the features of effective mentoring, how coaching and advising can occur within mentoring relationships, and how evidence-based practices can be integrated into our mentoring activities.
Facilitators: Wil Fleisher and Joanne Hamilton
