The Mentoring Program is designed to help new faculty achieve academic excellence and leadership in teaching, research, clinical care, and community work through informal coaching with a mentor. Intended for clinical and basic science faculty.
Introduction
The Mentoring Program is designed to help new faculty adjust to their new environment in academe by providing informal coaching for development of leadership and academic excellence. The strength of the program will rely upon the participation of new faculty, their mentors and respective department chairs playing active roles in the mentoring process.
Purpose
To develop leadership in the areas of: teaching, training, research, clinical care and community work.
Goals and Objectives
The Mentoring Program is designed with a goal of developing new faculty toward achieving academic excellence and leadership
