Description

This interactive discussion series of 18 one-hour sessions, led by a guest expert, is conducted for the benefit of the practicing pediatrician. This discussion will be followed by a question and answer period based on concerns brought from the practice of the participants.

Sessions will emphasize clinical scenarios, allowing participants to benefit from the experience of peers as well as that of the guest speaker. The content of future sessions will be directed by the participants of the series through their suggestions and questions raised during the course of each session.

This event is of interest to Pediatricians, family physicians with an interest in pediatrics and nurse practitioners with an interest in pediatrics.

Objectives

As a result of these sessions, participants will be able to:

  •  Describe new advances and best practices in the management of various pediatric and adolescent physical conditions and management of common mental health problems in pediatrics. (Communicator, Medical Expert)
  •  Recognize the challenges and recent initiatives that address service gaps in pediatric care. (Leader, Collaborator, Health Advocate)

As Per CPD Medicine policy, the department requires any refund or cancelation request to be submitted in writing up to fourteen (14) days prior to the program start date (Sept. 14, 2023). A $50 administrative fee will be withheld to cover transaction and administrative costs. Refund or cancelation requests made less than fourteen (14) days notice may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
