Description:

Data wrangling with dplyr and other tools from tidyverse.
Everyone has heard that “data analysis is 80% loading, cleaning, reshaping and otherwise preparing your data for analysis”. In this 3-day, hands-on workshop, you will learn more advance techniques that will make your data wrangling easier and more effective. Picking up where our Using R for Absolute Beginners ended, we will focus on effective techniques for preparing your data to be easy to analyse. Specific topics include wrangling data with missing values, calculating derived fields in your data, joining multiple pieces of data together.

Previous introductory experience with R is required for this workshop. To see our upcoming R for Absolute Beginners workshop, click here.

In-person sessions will be held from 9am to 12pm (CT) on Monday, Oct 7th, Tuesday, Oct 8th, and Friday, Oct 11th.

Please note, these workshops are in-person and will not be available virtually. They take place in the Brodie Centre, Room 405.
