Objectives

At the conclusion of this event:

• Participants should be able to describe best practices for managing sleep in the elderly (Medical Expert)
• Participants should be able to describe the normal physiology of aging (Medical Expert)
• Participants should be able to differentiate between delirium and dementia in a confused elderly patient (Medical Expert, Communicator)
• Participants should be able to identify key resources available to support their elderly patients (Medical Expert, Collaborator, Health Advocate, Communicator)
• Participants should be able to assess their patients at high risk of falls and recommend preventative measures (Medical Expert, Health Advocate, Communicator)
