It is anticipated that individuals attending the workshop gain insight and will learn about the following topical areas for career development.
As a result of participating in this session, learners will be able to:
- describe current privacy laws and how these apply to clinical research data acquisition and storage
- describe the concept of plagiarism and how to protect creative works and intellectual property in an university against academic misconduct
- explain the intellectual property development, copyright, patents and statute laws in academia.
