Description:

It is anticipated that individuals attending the workshop gain insight and will learn about the following topical areas for career development.

As a result of participating in this session, learners will be able to:

  1. describe current privacy laws and how these apply to clinical research data acquisition and storage
  2. describe the concept of plagiarism and how to protect creative works and intellectual property in an university against academic misconduct
  3. explain the intellectual property development, copyright, patents and statute laws in academia.
