Sponsored by the Alan Klass Program in Health Humanities

Academic writing is a core part of our communication as health professionals and creative writing brings many benefits. Writing makes people better observers, as it requires that we watch and listen carefully, to be able to accurately describe human behaviour. This enhances our ability to hear and understand our patient narratives. Creative writing also helps build empathy through adopting the perspectives of others in our writing.

We are pleased to offer an opportunity to work with a writing coach to build your academic or creative writing skills. Book a free 1-hour session in which you will work one-on-one with a writing coach via Zoom. Sessions are available on a first come, first served basis.

The Summer Coaching Program will run from June 8, through August 31, 2023.
