Surveys for Health Professions Education – June 3, 2021

Surveys and questionnaires are an accessible tool for health professions education research and evaluation. However, designing effective surveys can be challenging. In this workshop, we will discuss key principles for designing and conducting effective surveys and questionnaires.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to

• describe key principles for designing a survey,
• design a survey instrument tailored to program- or project-specific goals, and
• develop a plan for establishing reliability and validity of the survey instrument.
