Description:
The Office of Educational and Faculty Development is offering a writing skills workshop series for the purpose of assisting faculty in developing the narrative components of their academic dossiers and portfolios. In this interactive three-part series, participants will receive specific tools, guidance and support as they define their teaching philosophy. Participants will be expected to commit to attending all three of the workshops, participate in the interactive components, complete some ‘homework’ assignments, and engage in a collaborative group learning process.

This series was co-developed with the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba and was planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance.
This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for up to 6.0 Mainpro+ credits.
This series is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for a maximum of 6.0 hours.
Participants should only claim credit for the actual number of hours attended.
The University of Manitoba CPD Medicine Program is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME).
