Description:

Online surveys are an accessible tool for educational research. However, the diversity of questions available makes gathering high-quality and useful data tricky. In this workshop, we will explore how surveys can be used in educational research.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • describe several different survey question formats
  • design at least two different survey question formats
  • evaluate the quality and usefulness of data generated from selected survey questions.

Participants are asked to bring a mobile device (laptop, tablet, smart phone, etc.) to the workshop in order to access online survey software.
