  • Describe what virtual care is within the scope of the clinical setting.
  • Formulate a virtual care (VC) implementation plan that encompasses VC setup, technology requirements and modifications to clinic operations.
  • Comprehend the professional standards and medical legal obligations in providing virtual care including: privacy, security and patient consent.
  • Describe patient encounters that are suitable for virtual care.
  • Review best practice tips on how to schedule and conduct a virtual visit.
