Description:

Clinical teachers have needed to pivot quickly to adapt to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. One such pivot has been the transition to virtual care. As teachers, we must also adapt our supervision and assessment strategies.

Join Teresa Cavett and Alex Singer as they discuss pearls and pitfalls in virtual supervision.

Learning objectives:

  • identify the key elements for successful virtual appointments
  • incorporate the evolving competencies in virtual care into your assessment of learners
  • accurately express key elements of assessment conversations in writing

Facilitators will be available after the presentation to answer questions.
