What to Do with What Lies Under the Dressing A Primer on Wound Care Jun 1 2018

Description
A multidisciplinary presentation will address a broad range of topics ranging from understanding the evidence to the psychology of chronic disease. The program will be fast-paced, with multiple opportunities for audience engagement. Presentations will also address such important topics as vascular assessment, wound microbiology, pressure relief, and diagnosing and managing rashes, blistering and malignant wounds. The day will be wrapped up with a 45-minute session consisting of interactive case discussions.
Objectives
By attending this program, the attendee will be able to:
- Formulate an approach to the malignant wound
- Formulate an approach to known healing wound
- Select wound products for specific indication
- Formulate a strategy for the management of ulcerations of venous insufficiency, diabetic foot wounds, and pressure ulceration
