Description:
Writing learning objectives for courses and sessions can become tedious work. However, well written objectives serve many purposes in our curricula and are required by most accrediting agencies. In this workshop we will discuss the roles learning objectives play in a well-designed curriculum and practice writing meaningful learning objectives.
By the end of the workshop the learner will be able to
- Describe the purpose of learning objectives in health professions curricula
- Write meaningful learning objectives in the knowledge, psychomotor and affective domains.
